PCR and Real Time PCR training
PCR is a technique for amplifying DNA. This sampe principle of amplification is employed in Rt-PCR, but instead of looking at the bands on a gel at the end of the reaction, the process is monitored in “real time”. The reaction is placed in a real time PCR machine that watches the reaction occur with a camera or a detector.
Course Goal
The course focuses upon:
- The aspirant would be familiar with the theory and practical application of Real Time PCR.
- Principles of designing and an efficient real-time PCR assay.
- Interpreting real-time PCR data
